We are excited to open the nomination period for the 2026 NBCC Awards honoring outstanding individuals who are shaping the future of counseling!
These awards were created for counselors, by counselors to recognize individuals who exemplify professional excellence in counseling and whose contributions have significantly helped to expand access to mental health services, strengthen the profession, support counselor education, and advance counseling and counselors domestically and globally.
As an NCC, if you know of a counselor who fits that description, we encourage you to nominate them for one of these prestigious designations. We also encourage self-nominations. This is a unique opportunity to spotlight remarkable professionals, share their stories, celebrate their achievements, and help them gain greater visibility among their counseling peers nationwide.
Winners will receive an honorarium and will be featured in the NBCC Visions newsletter.
Submit your nomination using the below applications. NCCs are welcome to nominate as many counselors as they feel are deserving.
